New thermal minilab range is welcomed by a 2008 DIMA Award
This morning, the DKS 910 thermal minilab has received the DIMA AWARD from the Digital Imaging Marketing Association for the best printing quality in the “Dry Minilab” category.
DIMA Award winner every year since 2003 with silver-halide DKS minilabs, KIS decided this year to take up a new challenge by entering the “Dry Lab” category.
“This DIMA Award demonstrates the unique internal know-how of KIS when it comes to photographic printing, no matter what technology is used”, says Yan Manissadjian, KIS Marketing Manager.

A new thermal minilab range launched by KIS
The DKS 910, without print sorter, and the DKS 920, with print sorter and backprinter, are two models in the new thermal minilab range launched by KIS / Photo Me at the 2008 PMA Show.
For an investment 2 to 3 times lower than a silver-halide minilab, the thermal DKS answers the need for high quality processing from the traditional 4x6” print to the extremely fashionable photobooks.
